Where will the games be played?
All games will be played at the Baha Mar Convention Center. The Convention Center is located on the Baha Mar resort property along with the Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood hotel properties.
Are fans required to stay at Baha Mar to attend the games?
There is no requirement to stay on-property at Baha Mar in order to attend the games.
Are the game tickets reserved seating?
No, tickets available for sale through HappsNow (https://happsnow.com/team/uk-bahamas-tour) are all general admission seating. The only reserved seats are courtside tickets, travel package purchasers and the travel party allotment provided to each participating team.
Doors will open 60 minutes before tip-off. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to reserve their seats. The General Admission seats are all bleacher seating.
What age requires a ticket?
Tickets are not required for children 2-and-under.
What happens if I test positive for COVID and can't make the trip?
Game tickets are non-refundable. However, ticket insurance is available at the time of purchase through the HappsNow website to cover such a cancellation.
Grand Hyatt will refund the one-night deposit with proof of the positive test. Any other cancellations within seven days of arrival will be subject to forfeiture of the one-night deposit.
Any refunds on accommodations at any other resort properties will be at the direction of the hotel and based on its own policies.
What items are prohibited at the games?
The ballroom of the Convention Center will have similar policies to Rupp Arena and other venues. Prohibited items include:
- No bags will be permitted into the venue except for small clutches (9″ x 5″ x 2″ max). Backpacks of any size are not allowed.
- Cameras with interchangeable/detachable lens or external flash (No Professional Photography)
- Audio/Visual Recording Devices (includes GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles, etc.)
- Selfie Sticks, Tripods, Monopods
- Outside Food, Beverage, or Alcohol
- Cans, Metal/Glass/Plastic Containers, Bottles, or Flasks (empty or sealed bottles included)
- Laptops, Tablets, Personal Computers, or Two-Way Radios
- Weapons, Firearms, Pepper Spray, Pocket Knives or Mace
- Illegal Drugs or Substances
- Flammable Liquids, Aerosol Cans, or Permanent Markers
- Flashlights, Laser Pointers, Light/Glow Sticks, Flares, or Fireworks
- Noise Making Devices (i.e. Air Horns, whistles, bells, vuvuzelas, etc.)
- Balloons, Balls, Projectiles, or Optical Illusions
- Coolers, Ice Chests, Folding Chairs, or Pointed-Tip Umbrellas
- Patrons Without Shoes or Shirt
- Animals or Pets (accommodations made for trained, harnessed, and housebroken service animals)
- Clothing, garments, or signs displaying explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person(s)
- Signs, Flags, or Banners exceeding 11” x 17” or attached to a pole/stick. Signs must be relevant to event and event staff reserves the right to prohibit or remove a sign or banner at any time.
I'm not staying at Baha Mar, how do I get to the games?
Fans staying off-property will need to provide their own transportation to the Baha Mar Convention Center. Car rental companies are located at the airport and cabs are available throughout the island.
Where do fans fly into?
Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) in Nassau is the major international airport on the island and has daily flights from major hubs including Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Washington, D.C., Houston and others.
How do I get from the airport to Baha Mar?
Baha Mar is a 15-minute ride from Lynden Pindling International Airport. Cabs are available at the airport and the cost is approximately $30 each way. Guests staying at Baha Mar may also book private transportation through this link: https://bahamar.com/transportation/

Do I need a passport to travel to the Bahamas?
Yes, passports are required to travel to Bahamas, and the U.S. government recommends that your passport be valid for at least six more months from your travel date. If you do not have a valid passport, you will need to immediately apply for a new passport or a renewal with expedited service.
What are the COVID-19 requirements to enter the Bahamas?
Unvaccinated travelers are required to produce a negative RT-PCR test taken within three days of arrival in the country.
As of June 19, 2022, vaccinated travelers are no longer required to produce a negative test prior to arrival.
Additionally, as of June 19, 2022, the Bahamas Travel Health Visa is no longer required prior to entry.
Do I need to get tested for COVID-19 to return to the US?
As of June 12, the CDC no longer requires a negative test for travelers entering the United States.
